My work is mostly influenced by the romantic
aesthetics of the Victorian and Edwardian eras,
horror films, fairy tales and my dog. I am
fascinated by the concept of the paranormal and
intrigued with the idea of worlds existing
beyond our common perception. Visually - I
explore the line between the beautiful and the
creepy, the cute and the bizarre. Using
anecdotes of memories or made up stories, my
work is the product of pure imagination, infused
with some personal symbolisms and dream-like,
often nightmarish qualities.  This body of work
spans the time line of the past 12 years. It is
mostly about ghostly portraits, the creation of
isolated environments, and various depictions of
odd encounters, or glimpses of something
otherworldly I may catch out of the corner of my
mind's eye.
